New Delhi, February 19 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on BJP and Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the brutality with a seven-year-old girl in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area. Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the law and order situation in Delhi has gone from bad to worse under the BJP rule. The incident with an innocent girl in Tilak Nagar area has exposed the poor law and order situation in Delhi. There is no fear among criminals.
AAP leader Manish Sisodia said that now the election is over. Now abusing Arvind Kejriwal will not work, rather BJP will have to do some work. Our demand is that BJP should do something that creates fear of police among rapists and criminals.
Manish Sisodia and AAP MLA from Tilak Nagar Jarnail Singh held a joint press conference at the party headquarters on Wednesday. During this, Manish Sisodia said that a very heartbreaking news is coming from Tilak Nagar in Delhi, in which a seven-year-old innocent girl was brutalized. It is a matter of great concern for all of us that the morale of criminals and those who do wrong things with women in Delhi is completely high. Law and order has become a complete joke in Delhi. There is no fear in the minds of criminals and rapists.
He said that the elections in Delhi are now over. BJP has done all the abusive politics it had to do before the elections. But now it should change its abusive habits and do some work. The people of Delhi have already given the law and order of Delhi to BJP. Create fear of law inside these rapists and criminals. Why is this not happening?
He alleged that the rapists and criminals know that this is not a priority for those who have the responsibility of law and order. Whenever their leaders speak, they only abuse Arvind Kejriwal. The people of Delhi had elected seven BJP MPs earlier. Create some fear in the minds of rapists and criminals.
Party MLA Jarnail Singh said that he is saddened and angry about what happened to the seven-year-old girl in Tilak Nagar and that the Home Ministry and Delhi Police have failed to stop such incidents that shame humanity. Incidents like chain snatching, scooty and car theft are so common that people no longer count them. Ransom, rape and murder have become common in Delhi these days, but the police have completely failed to stop it. There is a lot of anger among the people of Delhi that what will be the result of this law and order situation that is getting worse every day? We assure the people of Delhi that we will stand with them till the end in this fight to improve law and order. We expect the judiciary to punish the culprits as harshly and as quickly as possible.
