New Delhi: Trouble arose in a village in Delhi when a leopard entered a house. There is news of three people being injured in this incident.
A fire department official said that the leopard was finally captured after a four-hour operation.
The three injured have been identified as Mahendra, Akash, and Rampal, residents of Jagatpur village.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Manoj Kumar Meena said that information about leopard entering a house in Jagatpur village was received at Wazirabad police station at 6:14 am on Monday. After this the police reached the spot and forest officials were informed.
The DCP said, “Seven people from the forest department and fire department, along with the local police, were present at the spot. The leopard was locked in a room and then captured.
According to Delhi Fire Service (DFS) Director Atul Garg, information about leopard entering a house in street number-3 of Jagatpur village was received at 6.18 am.
Responding to the call, two fire engines were sent to the spot.
“At 8.25 am, the leopard was confined in a room with the help of residents,” Garg said. The injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment.”
