Less than 2,000 Covid cases registered for the third consecutive day in Delhi

New Delhi| In the last 24 hours on Tuesday, 1,568 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Delhi. This is the third consecutive day the Corona cases in the national capital have been below 2,000. According to the health bulletin released by the Delhi government, the daily positivity rate has come down to 2.14 percent, the lowest since March 27.

The city recorded 156 deaths in the last 24 hours, the lowest number of deaths since 16 April. The total number of deaths has now reached 23,565.

A total of 4,251 patients have recovered from this deadly disease in the national capital, taking the total recovery to 13,74,682. The recovery rate was 96.8 percent.

Active cases fell below 22,000. This number is at an eight-week low. Active cases have come down to 21,739 from 24,578 on the previous day.

The number of new cases reported came out of 73,406 tests conducted on the previous day. A total of 1,88,62,103 tests have been conducted so far in the national capital.

Delhi has 1,550 new cases on Monday, 1,649 on Sunday, 2,260 on Saturday, 3,009 on Friday, 3,231 on Thursday and 3,846 new cases on Wednesday.

207 people died in the city on Monday, 189 on Sunday, 182 on Saturday, 252 on Friday, 233 on Thursday and 235 on Wednesday.
