New Delhi, February 24 . The three-day session of the Delhi Assembly began on Monday. But, the opposition created a ruckus over the removal of the picture of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh from the CM office. Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Atishi said that the BJP has removed the pictures of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh from the CM office in the Assembly and put the photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He called it an anti-Sikh and anti-Dalit action by the Delhi government. Atishi also tried to corner the Delhi government on the issue of giving Rs 2500 to women. BJP MLAs spoke to news agency IANS regarding the uproar of the opposition and the Rs 2500 scheme.
BJP MLA Ravi Negi said that before March 8, an amount of Rs 2500 will come in the bank account of women. PM Modi has made a promise to the women of Delhi which will be fulfilled.
BJP MLA Chandan Chaudhary said that the aim of Aam Aadmi Party is to disrupt the proceedings of the House. But our aim is to work in the interest of the public.
BJP MLA Satish Upadhyay said that look, which picture should be put where, these are matters decided under the Constitution. Our party neither opposes Babasaheb Ambedkar nor Bhagat Singh. We have always stood with them. But the way anarchy is being spread in the assembly, arrogance is being shown and dictatorial behavior is being shown, it is unacceptable. They have reached 22 from 62, but their behavior is the same as 62. Atishi’s behavior is very wrong.
Delhi government minister Pravesh Verma said that Aam Aadmi Party has spoiled the dignity of the House. They have not done any work in Delhi in 10 years.
BJP MLA Mohan Singh Bisht said that there is no question of insulting Babasaheb, we respect him. Now is the time for the development of Delhi.
Delhi government minister Ravindra Indraraj said that I am in the CM House room right now and Baba Saheb’s picture is clearly visible here. The CAG report is going to come on February 25, they are making these claims out of desperation.
Delhi government minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that today a new chapter has begun in Delhi. PM Modi called this party a disaster, he is absolutely right. These people do not want development to happen in Delhi. They will keep creating disturbances. But, we are working for the development of Delhi.
Regarding the ruckus in the assembly, BJP MLA Arvinder Singh Lovely said that the question is not of anarchy, the question is what is the intention of the Aam Aadmi Party. You have just come out of power, why don’t you compromise a little. They are afraid of the CAG report. Which will be presented on the floor of the House on February 25.
On the ruckus in Delhi Assembly, BJP MLA Kulwant Rana said that the job of the opposition is to create ruckus, their behavior is very bad, you know what ideology these people believe in. Today they should have cooperated and congratulated the Speaker on his election, but they created a ruckus.
BJP MLA Tarvinder Singh Marwah said that Manish Sisodia will get a minimum sentence of seven years. Right now he is running away to Punjab, looking for a place to hide.
