In this program, CM Rekha Gupta answered many questions of eminent actor and speaker Anupam Kher on the completion of 100 days of the government. During this, the Chief Minister also recited a poem on Operation Sindoor. The poem was something like this- “In silence, I am patience, in challenge, I am bravery, I am sindoor. I am the killing of terrorists, I am the border of courage. I am the life-giver, I am the witness of destruction, I am sindoor. I am a strong attack on the enemy who shot me thinking I was weak. I am the gift of every daughter and daughter-in-law. I am India’s yesterday and today, I am the pride of Hindustan, I am sindoor.” During the program, film actor Anupam Kher asked Rekha Gupta, “I want to know how you spent the last 10 years in Delhi before the BJP government came to power in Delhi.” In response to the question, Rekha Gupta said that when we saw that injustice was being done to the people of Delhi, when corruption was being exposed every day, when liquor shops were opening in every street. We were in the middle of that struggle. Sometimes we used to protest at the Secretariat, sometimes we were protesting at Kejriwal’s residence. In the last elections, when we used to lose by some margin, we used to stay among the people. We worked as public representatives for 10 years. Overall, Delhi lagged behind in these 10 years, but wherever we could set things right, we stayed among the people and worked for them.”

In response to a question by Kher to the CM, why should the people of Delhi trust you, Rekha Gupta said that a movement started from Ramlila Maidan, then thousands and lakhs of people joined. Everyone supported that group, so that something better happens in the country. Those people who used to say that we are not greedy for power, became greedy for power. They do not see anything else except power. When they got power in one state, they moved towards another state. In the last 10 years, the trust of the people of Delhi broke. Therefore, the people of Delhi have expressed their trust in the new government. The people of Delhi are seeing that my entire cabinet with me is continuously working on the road among the people.

She said that garbage is no longer a political issue, but it is our responsibility towards the solution. Our government is working with full commitment to make Delhi a clean, healthy and dignified capital.

Regarding Yamuna cleaning, Rekha Gupta said that the former The government of Delhi got 10 years. The previous governments also had enough time. But, no one took initiative to clean the Yamuna. Because, no one had the intention to clean the Yamuna. Our government decided in the first 100 days that we have to clean the Yamuna in a phased manner.

Making Delhi e-waste free is not only protecting the environment, but it is our responsibility towards the coming generations. The government is moving ahead with a solid policy and long-term solution regarding e-waste management. This is our path of service and resolution.
