New Delhi, July 21 . Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned from the post of Vice President on Monday citing health reasons. Political rhetoric has started after his resignation.
Congress MP Imran Masood, while talking to IANS, expressed surprise at Jagdeep Dhankhar’s resignation. He said, “Jagdeep Dhankhar was completely healthy inside the House today. When there was a ruckus during the proceedings of the House, he was sitting absolutely healthy at that time, don’t know what happened suddenly? If the reason is health, then we wish him good health, may God give him a long life. But I do not understand that the only reason behind the resignation is health.” Congress MP Danish Ali posted on the social media platform ‘X’ and wrote, “Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s sudden resignation even before completing 75 years is a clear signal from the RSS to Narendra Modi once again. There is a strong discussion in the political circles that after Dhankhar ji’s resignation, is there a preparation going on to make Yogi Adityanath the ‘Vice President’?”
Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Anand Dubey released a video and said, “We will pray to God for his health. Whether he remains the Vice President or not, but may he live long. His resignation raises a question mark, because he is not a small person, but holds a constitutional post. He resigns on the first day of the monsoon session.” He said, “What is going on in the government? Whenever a big incident is about to happen, a decision is taken without informing and discussing. Jagdeep Dhankhar could have resigned four days ago, after the session or much earlier. We do not know what is going on. Now time will be spent in selecting a new Vice President. The entire opposition wants to discuss Operation Sindoor, but in the meantime his resignation came.”
