PM Modi completes 100 episodes of ‘Mann Ki Baat’

New Delhi | Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said his monthly radio broadcast ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has become a unique festival of goodness and positivity for the people of the country. In the 100th episode of his monthly radio broadcast, PM Modi said, Friends, October 3, 2014 (the day the first episode aired) was the festival of Vijayadashami and we together started the journey of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on that day.

PM Modi said, today is the hundredth episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’. I have received thousands of letters from all of you, lakhs of messages and I have tried to read and understand the messages.

The Prime Minister further said that whether it is a matter of education or culture, whether it is a matter of its conservation or its promotion, this has been the ancient tradition of India.

The work that the country is doing in this direction today is really commendable. Be it the national education policy or the option of studying in regional language, whether it is technical integration in education, you must have seen many such efforts. The programs ‘Gunotsav and Shala Praveshotsav’ started years ago became a wonderful example of public participation in Gujarat to provide better education and reduce the school dropout rate.

Modi said that through the program he has tried to highlight the efforts of many people who are working selflessly for the cause of education.

In strengthening the social fabric of India, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is like a thread in a rosary. He said that in every episode, the service spirit and capability of the countrymen has inspired others.

The Prime Minister said, in this program every countryman becomes an inspiration for other countrymen. In a way, every episode of Mann Ki Baat sets the stage for the next episode. ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has always moved ahead with goodwill and service.

He also thanked the teams of All India Radio and Doordarshan for recording the program with great patience.

Many Union Ministers in different parts of the country heard the program live.

Governors and Lieutenant Governors also heard the program live at Raj Bhavans across the country.

The Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states also listened to the programme.
