Thousands of NDMC’s field staff witnessed the broadcast of the 100th Episode of “Mann Ki Baat” at Gole Market

New Delhi: New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) organised live screening of 100th Episode of “Mann Ki Baat” by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India in the Lawn of NP Bengali Girls School, Gole Market, New Delhi today.

On this occasion, Hon’ble Minister of State for Culture and External Affiars, Govt. of India – Smt. Meenakashi Lekhi, National Commission for Safai Karamcharis, Chairman – Shri M.Venkatesan, Vice Chairperson – Smt. Anjna Panwar, Member- Dr. P. P. Vava,  Chairman, NDMC – Shri Amit Yadav, Council Member – NDMC Shri Kuljeet Chahal, Smt. Vishakha Shailani, Secretary, NDMC – Dr. Ankita Chakravarty  and all the Heads of the Department & Senior Officers of NDMC were also present.

More than three thousand filed staff like safai sevak, Gardeners, Beldar and other employees of NDMC attended the program to listen “Mann Ki Baat” of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India , Shri Narendra Modi.

The Hon’ble Prime Minister addresses the nation on the last Sunday of every month at 11 am on All India Radio which was started from October 03rd, 2014.  The programme aims to deliver the Prime Minister’s voice and ideas to the general masses of India. Since television connection is still not universal in India, especially in the isolated, rural and less developed regions, radio was chosen to be the medium for the programme, owing to its wider reach.
