NDMC Council Member launches the intensive sanitation drive for New Delhi area at Bengali Market

New Delhi: New Delhi Municipal Council ( NDMC ) Council Member – Smt. Vishakha Sailani along with residential welfare association and market / traders association launched an intensive sanitation drive at Bengali Market near Mandi House in New Delhi today. Smt. Sailani also conducted an inspection of the Khanna Market area and interacted with local residents to motivate about the prepration for up comping swachh sarvekshan 2023 to achieve the target of become 1st rank as the cleanest city of the nation.

Smt. Sailani informed that NDMC is gearing up for the upcoming Swachhta Survekshan 2023 with the different types of activities along with active participation of its area residents, market / traders associations and she urged all the citizens of NDMC area to come together for achieving the target by united active participation in every effort taken by the Civic Body.

Today under the special Swachhta Drive, NDMC sanitation workers / safai sevaks along with the local residents , RWAs, MTAs and various community groups carried out different activities like swachhta abhiyan , felicitations of swachhta warriors to recognize their contribution in swachhta  and awareness campaign about swachhta sarvekshan 2023, say no to single use plastic and segregation of waste at source in Khan Market, Moti Bagh,  Hanuman Lane – CPWD Colony, Netaji Nagar – JJ Cluster and Anant Ram Dairy in New Delhi.
