New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted the countrymen on the 79th Independence Day from the ramparts of the Red Fort. In his address, he emphasized on the progress, unity and future plans of the country. PM Modi announced the ‘PM Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana’ from the Red Fort, which aims to provide employment opportunities to the youth. A large number of NCC cadets were present at the Red Fort to listen to his speech.
After the speech, PM Modi met everyone and encouraged them.
The NCC cadets looked excited and happy after meeting PM Modi. Talking to IANS, an NCC cadet said that it was great to meet PM Modi and he inspired everyone. The PM met all the cadets personally, which further increased their enthusiasm.
Another NCC cadet said, “I felt proud. Today we met him (PM Modi). This moment is unforgettable. Meeting PM Modi has awakened a sense of pride and inspiration in all of us cadets. In PM Modi’s speech we see the roadmap of developed India. PM Modi’s speech was inspiring; it gives clear direction and inspiration to the youth of the country for the future.”
An NCC cadet liked Prime Minister Modi’s spontaneous question. According to the cadet, during the meeting, PM Modi asked at what time in the morning they reached the Red Fort? The cadets told that they had reached there at 3:30 in the morning. This made PM Modi appreciate their dedication and enthusiasm.
The NCC cadets described PM Modi’s speech on Operation Sindoor as very inspiring. They also expressed happiness that the ‘PM Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana’ will prove to be important in increasing employment opportunities for the youth.
The cadets said that meeting PM Modi was a new and special experience, which filled them with pride and enthusiasm. They found the resolve of developed India particularly impressive.
