PM Modi spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over phone, said – there is no place for war

New Delhi, September 30  Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over phone on Monday. PM Modi stressed that there is no place for terrorism and war in the world.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also posted on his social media handle regarding his conversation with the Israeli Prime Minister. He said, “Talked to Prime Minister Netanyahu regarding recent developments in West Asia. There is no place for terrorism in our world. It is important to prevent regional tensions and ensure the safe release of all hostages. India is committed to supporting efforts for the early restoration of peace and stability.”

PM Modi has spoken to the Israeli Prime Minister at a time when many people were killed in Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon on Sunday. Israel attacked several Hezbollah bases.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden had informed on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would talk to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the phone. Biden had stressed that the war in West Asia should be completely ended. The US President had advocated peace in West Asia.

Meanwhile, on Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the people of Iran. Criticizing the ruler of Iran, he said, “The regime of Iran is suppressing you. By doing this, an attempt is being made to push this entire region towards war. The primary objective of the ruler of Iran is not the welfare of the people, but to waste money in the war in Lebanon and Gaza. Just think for a moment how much better it would be if the money being spent on the war is used in social welfare works.”
