Prabhat Pheri by NDMC School Students from Connaught Place, New Delhi on Sunday

New Delhi: New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is organizing ‘Prabhat Pheri’ of 5000 school students at 8 am on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from Connaught Place, New Delhi to celebrate ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”.

The event will be graced by dignitaries Shri Piyush Goel, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry, Smt Smriti Irani, Hon’ble Minister of Textile, Smt Meenakshi Lekhi, Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affair & Culture – Govt of India, Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Delhi and Members of NDMC.

NDMC School Students’ Prabhat Pheri will cover the route from Janpath Radial to Inner circle of Connaught Place to Kasturaba Gandhi Marg to War Memorial at India Gate.

Approximately 5000 school students, teachers, parents, other individuals and NDMC Officials and Officers will attend the Prabhat Pheri. NDMC also appeals to all RWAs, MTAs, various NGOs and individuals to participate in Prabhat Pheri.

NDMC is organising various activities to promote “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav like Cycle Rally, Cultural activities, quiz competition, painting competition, SWANidhi, Prabhat Pheri by all schools, motivational messages displayed on LED and digital screens, Hordings, Banners, Posters displayed at various public places.

The Vision of “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign is to unify the nation and remember the freedom struggle of the country by instilling patriotism in the hearts of citizens. The campaign “Har Ghar Tiranga” envisages that every citizen of the country must bring the National Flag at home and unfurl it.
