New Delhi| Following Manish Sisodia’s resignation from the Delhi cabinet, the AAP government has decided to hand over his portfolio to two cabinet colleagues Kailash Gehlot and Raj Kumar Anand till new ministers are inducted in the cabinet. Of the 18 portfolios that Sisodia was heading, Gehlot has been given the responsibility of eight, including finance and PWD, while the remaining ten, including education and health, have been given to Anand.
With Gehlot and Anand getting the new responsibility, both the ministers will now have 14 portfolios each.
Gehlot was already handling six portfolios, including Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs, Transport, Administrative Reforms, Information Technology, Revenue and Women and Child Development.
While Rajkumar Anand was the minister for four departments – Gurdwara Elections, SC-ST, Social Welfare and Cooperative.
Gopal Rai handles three portfolios – Development, General Administration Department and Environment, Forest and Wildlife. Imran Hussain has the responsibility of two portfolios – food supply and elections.
