Three Lashkar terrorists arrested in Jammu and Kashmir, arms sent from Pakistani drones recovered

JAMMU | Security forces have arrested three suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba militants from Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district. Weapons and ammunition have been recovered from these terrorists which they obtained through drones.

Officials gave this information on Saturday.

All three are from Pulwama district of South Kashmir and have been identified as Rahil Bashir, Aamir Jan and Hafiz Younis Wani. Police said the terrorists had gone to Rajouri to pick up weapons sent by drones from Pakistan.

Jammu Police Mukesh Singh told IANS that the three terrorists belonged to Lashkar-e-Taiba. The recovered weapons include two AK-56 rifles, 6 AK-magazines with 180 rounds, two Chinese pistols, three pistol magazines with 30 rounds, four grenades along with cash of Rs 1 lakh.
