UP: A youth had to pay a heavy price for commenting in support of Pakistan, police arrested him

Meerut, May 7  The Indian Army took a major military action against the Pahalgam terror attack under ‘Operation Sindoor’ and attacked and destroyed 9 terrorist hideouts of neighbouring country Pakistan. During the growing tension between the two countries, a youth from Meerut had to pay a heavy price for commenting in support of Pakistan on social media.

Taking action in this matter, the police registered a case under serious sections and arrested the youth.

A youth named Zaid from Meerut made an objectionable comment on the post of a Pakistani YouTuber. Along with calling Pakistan right in the comment box, he also raised slogans in support of Pakistan.

Hindu organizations created a ruckus over the youth’s comment. The police took immediate action and arrested the youth. A case has been registered against the accused under serious sections in the Civil Lines police station and further action is being taken. The accused works in a salon.

The police investigating the case told the media, “An objectionable post was made by a youth on Instagram and other social media platforms. With the help of the public, the police traced the accused youth. Taking cognizance of his social media movement and activity, immediate action is being taken. The arrest of the youth has also been ensured by registering a case under relevant sections. The entire matter is being investigated. All his posts are being monitored.”

It is noteworthy that the Indian Army attacked nine terrorist hideouts with 24 missiles between 1.05 am and 1.30 am on Tuesday night, which included the Lashkar-e-Taiba headquarters in Muridke and the main hideouts of the terrorist in Bahawalpur. These are the places which are considered to be the center of terrorist activities. This attack was named ‘Operation Sindoor’.
