Mumbai, Oct 3 Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat has shared a painful incident when she was molested by a male co-star. She will soon be seen in the film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’.
A video of the actress has gone viral on the Internet. She recalls the time when she shot for a big film in Dubai with a big starcast.
In the video, Mallika said, “Let me give you an example, I was shooting for a big film in Dubai, it was a multi-starrer film. It is a superhit film, people loved it, I have done a comedy role in it.”
So far everything was fine. But, what she said next paints a very uncomfortable, rather a dark picture of what is going on in the corridors of the glittering city.
She said, ‘The hero of that film used to knock on my door at 12 in the night. The knocking made me think that he was going to break the door because he wanted to come inside my bedroom. I said, no, this is not going to happen. After that that hero never worked with me.”
However, the actress refrained from taking any names. As soon as the clip went viral, people on social platforms started speculating about who she was talking about.
Some people in the comments section of Reddit speculated that this big budget film could be the 2007 superhit ‘Welcome’. It was shot in Dubai, had a big star cast and Mallika played a comedy role.
Mallika’s upcoming film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ is her second Hindi film after two years.
Earlier, she appeared in Rajat Kapoor directed ‘RK/RK’.
‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ also features Tripati Dimri and Rajkummar Rao, who have been in news recently with their box-office successes.
