Born on 7 October 1977 in Bangalore and winning the title of Miss India in 1999, this actress is far away from the eyes of cameras today. After becoming Miss India, she also won the title of Miss World, which was no less than creating history.
This 6.1 inch tall actress could not achieve the position in the industry that she wanted. Yukta made her debut on the big screen with the film ‘Pyaasa’ in 2002. There have been many such actresses in the industry whose career ended after marriage. Yukta Mookhey also decided not to work after marriage. There were also reports that she could not make it in Bollywood because of her height.
The former Miss World married Prince Tuli, a big businessman from New York, in 2008, but the marriage did not last long. She accused her husband of dowry harassment and unnatural sex in front of the media. She said that her husband “beats her like an animal”.
After fighting a long legal battle, Yukta Mookhey finally got a divorce from her husband in 2014.
Talking about her film career, Yukta’s first film ‘Pyaasa’ did not do much at the box office. After this, she signed ‘Kab Kyon Kaha’ and ‘Hum Teeno’ in 2003 but it remained incomplete. Yukta Mookhey was last seen in the film Good News (2019).
