Srinagar| Two Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel were martyred and 12 others were injured when terrorists opened fire on a police bus on the outskirts of Srinagar city on Monday evening.

“Two policemen were martyred and 12 others were injured in the attack. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital. The area has been cordoned off,” a source said.
The 9th Battalion of the Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police was aboard the bus.
This is a major terrorist attack on security forces in recent times and it has happened in an area where many camps of security forces are located.
