New Delhi | In the last 24 hours, 2,59,170 corona cases have been reported in India. It has seen a slight decline as compared to 2,73,810 cases of the previous day (Monday). According to the Health Ministry data released on Tuesday, the total corona cases in the country have increased to 1,53,21,089.
This is the sixth consecutive day that the country has registered two lakh Kovid cases. India recorded 2,61,500 new cases on Sunday, 2,34,692 cases on Saturday, 2,00,739 and 2,17,353 cases on Thursday and Friday.
Meanwhile, a total of 1,761 people died of Kovid in the last 24 hours, after which 1,80,530 people have lost their lives in the country so far. The number of active cases has increased to 20,31,977.
A total of 1,54,761 patients have recovered during the last 24 hours. 1,31,08,582 people have recovered with an 85.65 percent recovery rate.
The Health Ministry said that a total of 15,19,486 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
A total of 26,94,14,035 samples have been tested in the country so far.
According to government figures, a total of 32,76,555 people have also been vaccinated during this period, taking the total number of vaccinations to 12,71,29,113.
