New Delhi: In view of the ongoing pandemic 2nd wave phase, New Delhi Municipal Council ( NDMC ) organized a webinar on emotional and physical wellbeing of its teaching community.
Key speakers of Dr. Sumit Dubey, Dy. Commandent (Medical) ITBP, elaborated the various issues of COVID -19 symptoms, treatment, home isolation, home remedies and vaccination etc. He further said that during this difficult phase of pandemic our life, it is the utmost need and demand for everyone to be mentally and physically healthy.
Dr. Geetanjali Kumar, Eminent Psychologist explained the chronological effects of COVID-19 pandemic which altered the way we all look at life. Most of us are suffering from varied psychological disorders like anxiety, loneliness, depression and pessimism, among others.
In the webinar, she focused that how mental health can be maintained during this difficult time. She specifically mentioned that how mental health is responsible for declining of oxygen level of Covid19 patients.
The webinar was chaired by Shri D P Singh, Director (Education ) NDMC emphasized on how spirituality is important to come out from this depressing phase of our life.
On the occasion, besides as many as 500 teachers from NDMC/Navyug Schools, Mrs. Anjum Siddiqui, Joint Director ( Education ) and Dr. Dinesh Madan, HOS, Navyug School Lodhi Road as coordinator attended the webinar .
