Thursday, plans for a vaccine rollout to the general public of New Zealand were announced. Here people above 60 years of age will be vaccinated from July 28 and those above 55 years of age will be vaccinated from August 11.

Our vaccination program is ahead of plan, Ardern said. About one million doses have been given and work is being done at the rate of 107% to achieve the target.

He also said that every eligible citizen of New Zealand will have the opportunity to be vaccinated by the end of the year.
