Srinagar| Two terrorists and one of their associates were killed in an encounter with security forces at Hyderpora in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district. This information was given by the officials on Tuesday. The aide of the terrorists was the owner of the house in which the terrorists were hiding.
J&K Police tweeted quoting IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, “Landlord who was injured in terrorist firing has died.. Search is on.”
Police said the terrorists were hiding on the top floor of the building. “As per sources and digital evidence, he is acting as a terrorist associate,” the police tweeted.
Earlier on Monday, the police said that two terrorists were killed in an encounter with the security forces.
The encounter took place after a joint team of police and army cordoned off the area and launched a search operation based on specific information about the presence of terrorists.
As the security forces reached the spot where the terrorists were hiding, the terrorists opened fire in their defense, triggering the subsequent encounter.
