Srinagar | Three terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in the Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district. Officials gave this information on Friday.
“Three terrorists killed in the encounter. Identity and affiliation are being ascertained. Incriminating material including arms and ammunition has been recovered,” J&K Police tweeted quoting Vijay Kumar, Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone.
A joint team of police and security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation based on specific information about the presence of terrorists, following which an encounter broke out between the terrorists and the security forces.
