Family political parties never give youth a chance to progress: Modi

New Delhi| Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday took a jibe at the family political parties, saying that these parties never give a chance to the youth to progress. Addressing the workers on the 42nd Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Narendra Modi said that while there is ‘Parivar Bhakti’ for others, there is ‘Rashtra Bhakti’ for the BJP.

He said that some political parties are working for the interest of one family. They are present in different states but cover each other’s corruption and wrongdoings.

Modi said, “The country has suffered a lot because of these family parties. These parties have not allowed the youth of the country to progress. They have always betrayed the youth. Today BJP is the only party which has taken this direction in the country.” Changed and made it a political issue. Today everyone understands that family parties are against democracy.”

Referring to the killing of BJP workers and political violence in the states led by opposition parties, Prime Minister Modi said BJP workers are struggling and losing their lives. “I assure that our struggle will continue till we inculcate democratic values in those states,” he said.

He told the party leaders and workers that BJP is working day and night for the upliftment of the poor, backward and women and this is the basic principle of this party.

The Prime Minister said that many political parties have been doing vote bank politics for many decades but the BJP has been successful in opposing such unfair practices.

Modi said on the occasion, “Today is the fifth day of Navratri. Today we worship Maa Skandmata. She is seated on a lotus flower and holds lotus flowers in both her hands. May Ma’s grace be with you.”

He said that from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Kutch to Kohima, BJP is trying to strengthen the country as ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’.

The Prime Minister said that India today stands for its own interest without any pressure and fear. When the whole world is divided into two opposing camps, India is being seen as a country that talks about humanity.

He said that there was a time when people had accepted that whatever party government is in place, nothing would be done for the country. Today but every citizen of the country proudly says that the country is changing.

Referring to the country’s exports crossing the $400 billion mark, the Prime Minister said, “Our government has put the country’s interest first. Today, the country has decision-making capability and also the determination to implement the decision.” That’s why when we set goals today, we achieve them too.”

He said that BJP’s foundation day is more important this year for three reasons. The first reason is that this year the 75th year of independence is being celebrated. The second reason is the rapidly changing global system, due to which new opportunities have emerged in front of India and the third reason is that recently the BJP government came to power in four states and after three decades, the party members in the Rajya Sabha. The number has crossed 100.
