New Delhi, September 16 :Saurabh Bhardwaj, Health Minister in the Delhi Government, has put an end to all the speculations about who will be the Chief Minister. He said that due to Monday’s holiday, it will be decided on Tuesday who will be the CM.
He said these things at the Aam Aadmi Party office in Delhi. Responding to media questions, Bhardwaj said, today is Monday, Eid holiday. Tomorrow is the first working day of the week, i.e. Tuesday. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will resign from his post.
As soon as the CM’s resignation is accepted, the party will call a meeting of the legislature party. We have 60 MLAs. The name on which consensus will be reached in the legislature party meeting will become the next Chief Minister of Delhi.
Work in Delhi will be done according to the new Chief Minister. Saurabh Bhardwaj said, Right now I cannot say who will become the CM.
Let us tell you that after the announcement of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation, it was being speculated that his wife Sunita Kejriwal could become the Chief Minister. At the same time, it is also being claimed that Arvind Kejriwal can announce the name of Minister Atishi, who is handling more than a dozen departments in the government.
Minister Kailash Gehlot is also in the race for CM.
Saurabh Bhardwaj further said in the press conference, the Chief Minister announced his resignation voluntarily after being released from jail. Which is an important step. He said, there is widespread dissatisfaction among the public regarding the Bharatiya Janata Party.
This dissatisfaction stems from the fact that the Chief Minister, who passed the IIT and IRS exams, worked as an Income Tax Commissioner, left his job to serve in slums for ten years and continued to struggle even while in office.
Many restrictions were imposed on him while being the Chief Minister for the last 9 years. But Kejriwal continued to work continuously for the people of Delhi.
Saurabh said, there is such impatience among the people of Delhi that they are saying that elections should be held soon and we should make Arvind Kejriwal the Chief Minister again by voting for the Aam Aadmi Party.
After Kejriwal resigned after coming out of jail, people are saying that he did a good job by not resigning in jail. People are very angry with the conspiracy hatched by BJP against Kejriwal.
