New Delhi, February 8 The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made a strong comeback to power after 27 years by performing historically in the Delhi Assembly elections. BJP candidate from Malviya Nagar seat Satish Upadhyay said that this has opened a new path of development.
By the time of writing the news, the BJP had won 47 seats and was ahead in one seat. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has won 22 seats. Congress failed to open its account in this election.
After his victory, he thanked the BJP workers and the party leadership. He said that this victory is the result of the leadership and vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has opened a new path for the development of Delhi.
Satish Upadhyay said, “This victory is the result of Modi ji’s leadership and his vision. This time the lotus of the Bharatiya Janata Party has bloomed and the BJP government is going to be formed. To fulfill the dream of a developed India with Modi ji’s vision, now a developed Delhi will also be built. This victory is completely the result of the hard work of the party and the workers. Under the guidance of every BJP worker and our top leadership, we fought and won this election.”
He also took a dig at Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He said, “Kejriwal had said that Modi ji will have to take a second birth to win Delhi. But now see, BJP has won a landslide victory here. Now his party and his own position have become very weak. The questions of lying leaders have no meaning. This is the time of victory and we are committed to take Delhi on a new path of development.”
He said, “With this victory, there is tremendous enthusiasm among the party workers and supporters. Celebrations are being held at many places and workers are celebrating the victory with drums and trumpets.”
