Earthquake tremors were felt in Rajkot of Gujarat and Karimganj of Assam.
Earthquake tremors were felt in Rajkot (Gujarat) and Karimganj (Assam). It was told that an earthquake of 4.5 Richter scale occurred in Rajkot and the intensity of earthquake in Karimganj, Assam was 4.1 Richter scale. Till the time of writing the news, no casualty was known.
Earlier, tremors of 4.3 magnitude earthquake were felt in Mizoram on Thursday. Earthquake tremors were felt mainly in Champhai district located on the Indo-Myanmar border. This tremor was felt for the eighth time in this hill state of the Northeast in three weeks. According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake that occurred at 2.28 pm was 23 kilometers southwest of Champhai city.
Explain that for the last about three months, earthquakes of moderate or less intensity have been occurring in different parts of the country. Till now these earthquakes have occurred in many states like Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Jammu Kashmir, Mizoram, Odisha, Chhattisgarh etc. Due to which there is a lot of panic in the minds of the people. However, none of the casualties were reported due to any of these earthquakes. However, due to the earthquake, the walls of people’s houses in Gujarat and Mizoram have cracked or been damaged. The shock of these earthquakes coming so soon has also surprised the scientists.
