Jammu | A terrorist ‘fidayeen’ (suicide) attack was foiled by alert troops of the Army in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Thursday, in which two terrorists were killed and three soldiers were martyred. “The terrorists tried to cross the fence of the army camp at Pargal near Budh Kanadi in Darhal area of Rajouri district early today,” defense sources told IANS.
He further said, “The soldiers on duty challenged the infiltrators and firing started from both sides.
” Two infiltrating terrorists have been killed. During this operation, three army personnel also lost their lives in the line of duty.”
The same sources said that it was a ‘fidayeen’ (suicide) attack by terrorists, which was thwarted.
Additional troops have been deployed to search the area.
