THE ACCUSED IS A HABITUAL CRIMINAL WITH A HISTORY OF INVOLVEMENT IN 03 CRIMINAL CASES OF HOUSE THEFT, HURT AND THEFT REGISTERED IN DIFFERENT POLICE STATIONS IN DELHI.
TEAM & ASSIGNMENT:
Keeping in view, the increasing incidents of house theft and burglary in the area, a dedicated police team led by ASI Mukesh Kumar, comprising HC Sanjay, Ct Anil Kumar and Ct Mahesh was constituted, under the close supervision of Inspr. Virendra Kumar, SHO/PS Wazirabad Delhi and guidance of Ms. Alka Azad, ACP/Sub-Division, Timarpur, Delhi.
Above said team of PS Wazirabad has been directed to work on the wanted criminals especially Robbers, Snatchers, Burglars, Auto-lifters as well as the criminals involved in street crime. Consequently, the team has deployed secret informers to get the clues about the criminals and they have been working relentlessly and developing information about the criminals, active in the area and they also used to patrol randomly in the area during odd hours to keep a check on their illegal activities.
OPERATION:
The above said team had swilled the CCTV footages of the incidents in the area of PS Wazirabad and CCTV footages spread to the secret informers in the area to developed secret information about the suspect.
On 27.10.2023, through secret informer it has come to the notice that the person saw in the CCTV Footages was roaming in the area of PS Wazirabad for commission of crime. On this, a trap was laid down in the area to apprehend the suspected person. After some time, the suspected person was seen in Sangam Vihar area and the team rushed towards him. On seeing the staff coming towards him, the suspected person tried to escape and started running, but the dedicated staff succeeded apprehending him after a chase for a distance about 200 meters. Immediately, his personal search was conducted, consequently, a Button Actuated Knife was recovered from his possession.
The accused person was hiding his identification and made lame excuses. The apprehended accused was identified as Khalid, age 35 years with the help of FRS on e-beat-book and he was also found involved in 03 cases of burglary and house theft registered in PS Wazirabad.
As regards, recovery of Button Actuated Knife, a separate case vide FIR No. 1021/23 dated 27.10.2023 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered at PS Wazirabad and the investigation was carried out.
INTERROGATION:
During the course of interrogation, the accused person Khalid, age 35 years disclosed the commission of house theft and burglary in the area of PS Wazirabad. He was matched with the CCTV footages of burglary and house theft of the area and was found same person as seen in CCTV footages. He was produced before Hon’ble court and one day PC was taken to recover the case property.
On 28.10.2023, during PC remand, on his instance one Bag containing Laptop with Charger, One Wallet containing Rs. 1,120/- and Driving License, Adhar Card, Pan Card of the complainant, One pair of Silver Anklet (Pajeb), One LED TV, One Gas Cylinder, other house hold articles were recovered from his house situated in Narela, Delhi. The recovered items were matched with incidents registered at PS Wazirabad and the same were found burgled/stolen from the area of Wazirabad, Delhi in various FIRs.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON:
• Khalid R/o Gali Mandir Wali Kurcha Chalan, Daryaganj, Delhi and Pocket-4, Sector-6, Narela, Delhi, age 35 years. (Previously found involved in 03 criminal cases of House Theft, Hurt and Theft registered in Police Stations Seelampur, Narela and Chandni Mahal, Delhi).
2. One Wallet containing Rs. 1,120/- and Driving License, Adhar Card, Pan Card of the complainant and one pair Silver Anklet. (Case FIR No. 966/23 dated 12.10.2023 u/s 454/380 IPC, PS Wazirabad, Delhi).
3. One Bag containing a Laptop with Charger. (E-FIR No. 01134/23 u/s 454/380 IPC, PS Wazirabad, Delhi).
4. One Gas Cylinder. (E-FIR No. 0164/23 u/s 380 IPC, PS Wazirabad, Delhi).
5. House breaking instruments i.e. one iron rod and two screw drivers (one big, one small).
WORKED OUT CASES:
On the basis of recovery, CCTV footages records as well as disclosure of the accused person, the following 12 cases, under the heads of Arms Act, Day Burglary and Night Burglary registered in PS Wazirabad have been worked out with his arrest.
1. FIR No. 1021/23 dated 27.10.2023 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Wazirabad, Delhi. (Recovery: One Button Actuated Knife).
2. FIR No. 966/23 dated 12.10.2023 u/s 454/380 IPC PS Wazirabad, Delhi. (Recovery: One Wallet containing Rs. 1,120/- and Driving License, Adhar Card, Pan Card of the complainant and one pair Silver Anklet).
3. E-FIR No. 01134/23 dated 24.10.2023 u/s 454/380 IPC, PS Wazirabad, Delhi. (Recovery: One Bag containing a Laptop with Charger).
4. E-FIR No. 0164/23 dated 22.09.2023 u/s 454/380 IPC, PS Wazirabad, Delhi. (Recovery: One Gas Cylinder).
Further investigation is in progress to unearth the entire conspiracy and to affect the arrest of leftover criminals if any and their involvement in other cases is also being verified.
