A wave of mourning due to the death of Lata Mangeshkar, President Kovind and Prime Minister Modi expressed deep sorrow

New Delhi | Swar Kokila Lata Mangeshkar passed away on Sunday. Lata Mangeshkar breathed her last at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. 92-year-old Lata Mangeshkar got corona infected recently, after which she was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have condoled his death. Describing the achievements of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar as incomparable, President Ram Nath Kovind has described her death as heartbreaking for himself.

Condoling the death of Lata Mangeshkar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that her grief is beyond words. She has left a void in our country which cannot be filled. The generations to come will remember him as a stalwart of Indian culture.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted on her demise, saying, “My grief is beyond words. The kind and caring Lata didi has left us. She has left a void in our country that cannot be filled. Generations to come She will be remembered as a stalwart of Indian culture who had an unparalleled ability to mesmerize people with her melodious voice.”

Recalling Lata Mangeshkar’s dreams, PM Modi tweeted, “Lata didi’s songs stirred many emotions. She closely watched the changes in the Indian film industry for decades. Beyond films, she has always been a part of India’s development.” She always wanted to see a strong and developed India.”

Recalling Lata Mangeshkar’s immense affection for himself, PM Modi said, “I consider it my honor that I have always had immense affection from Lata didi. My interactions with her will be unforgettable.”

He expressed his condolences by talking to the family of Lata Mangeshkar and expressed his grief along with the countrymen.

Condoling her death, President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted, “Lata Ji’s passing is heartbreaking for me, as it is for millions around the world. In her vast array of songs, she captures the essence and beauty of India. In doing so, generations find expression of their inner feelings. Bharat Ratna, Lata ji’s achievements will remain incomparable.”

Describing him as an extraordinary person, the President said that once in a century such an artist is born. That divine voice became silent but his dhun will remain immortal, resonating for eternity.

The President also expressed his condolences to his family and all his fans.
