New Delhi, . The Aam Aadmi Party on Monday launched a ‘DP campaign’ in support of party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the excise policy case.
Atishi, the cabinet minister in the Delhi government, announced this here. Under the campaign, all the leaders and workers of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will change the DP of their social media accounts.
Atishi said that this social media campaign will bring the spark of Arvind Kejriwal and his inspiration to every home. He appealed to the countrymen to raise their voice “in this fight against dictatorship” by downloading the photo from ‘India with Kejriwal.com’ and making it their DP. He said that if people support Arvind Kejriwal and want to send the message across the country that democracy is being destroyed, then they must be a part of this campaign.
The minister said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested by the Bharatiya Janata Party and their political weapon, ED, in a false case. A case in which, even after two years of investigation, not even one rupee of crime proceeds were recovered from any AAP leader. Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested in this case just after the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections.
Atishi said that she wants to tell BJP that she is under the illusion that Arvind Kejriwal is just a human being. Arvind Kejriwal is an idea, and they can put one Arvind Kejriwal in jail, but with his inspiration, thousands of Kejriwals will come out from all over the country.
He said that today a DP campaign is being launched on social media across the country. From 3 pm on Monday, all Aam Aadmi Party leaders, all MLAs, all workers are changing their DP.
