New Delhi, February 8 In the trends of Delhi Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party has crossed the majority mark and has maintained a great lead, while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is lagging behind from making a hat-trick of victory. Former Chief Minister of Delhi and Convenor of Aam Aadmi Party Arvind Kejriwal has released a video message amid the trends and results, in which he accepted defeat while expressing gratitude to the people of Delhi.
Arvind Kejriwal said in the video message, “Today the results of the Delhi elections have come and whatever is the decision of the people, we accept it with full humility. The decision of the people is acceptable to us. I congratulate the Bharatiya Janata Party for this victory and I hope that with the hope and expectation with which the people have given them the majority, they will live up to all those hopes and expectations.” He further said, “In the last ten years, we got the opportunity from the people of Delhi and we did many important works in the fields of education, health, water, electricity. Along with this, we also tried to improve the infrastructure of Delhi. Now, with the decision given by the people, we will not only play the role of a positive opposition, but we will also always work in the field of social service.” Kejriwal also said that Aam Aadmi Party did not come to politics for power, but their aim was to serve the people. We consider politics as a medium through which we can help the people in their happiness and sorrow.
We will continue to serve the people in this way in future as well. Encouraging the AAP workers, the former CM said, “I want to congratulate all the workers of Aam Aadmi Party. They worked very hard in this election, endured a lot and fought the election with full strength. I heartily congratulate them for their dedication and hard work.” –
