Bhutan King also impressed by Maha Kumbh, took a holy dip, also saw the divine-grand and digital form

Mahakumbh Nagar, 4 February . Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam on Tuesday with the state’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Bhutan King Namgyal Wangchuk had reached Lucknow on Monday itself, where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed him.

On Tuesday, the Chief Minister reached Prayagraj with Namgyal Wangchuk and took a holy dip at Sangam. After taking a holy dip at Sangam, the Bhutan King also visited Akshay Vat and Bade Hanuman Temple. Both the leaders also visited the ‘Digital Mahakumbh Anubhooti Kendra’.

CM Yogi Adityanath has also shared its pictures on the social media platform X. He wrote in the post, “His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk of Bhutan today visited the ‘Digital Mahakumbh Anubhuti Kendra’ at Mahakumbh-2025, Prayagraj, a sacred symbol of spirituality and modernity, and observed the divine, grand and digital form of Mahakumbh.” The whole world is eager to take a dip in the biggest event of the century ‘Mahakumbh 2025’. In this sequence, King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk of Bhutan also reached Prayagraj to take a ‘holy dip’ in the holy confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Here Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made him take a ritual bath and worship at the Triveni Sangam. Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk had reached Lucknow from Thimphu on Monday itself, where CM Yogi welcomed him. After bathing and meditating at the Sangam, the King of Bhutan and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Akshayvat. After this, both the leaders bowed their heads in the temple of Bade Hanuman Ji. After this, both the leaders reached the ‘Digital Mahakumbh Anubhuti Kendra’ built near the Big Hanuman Temple and also observed the divine-grand and digital form of Mahakumbh.

This visit of the King of Bhutan will prove to be an important step towards further strengthening India-Bhutan friendship and cultural relations.

During the spiritual journey of the King of Bhutan in Mahakumbh Nagar, state cabinet minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ and Mahant Jagadguru Santosh Das (Satua Baba) of Satua Baba Peeth of Vishnu Swami sect, along with other dignitaries, were present.
