Saroj Khan Death News: Veteran Bollywood choreographer, Saroj Khan, passed away due to cardiac arrest on early Friday morning. She was 71. She was accolade with National Award winner thrice. This news is shocking for everyone.
Last week she was admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital in Bandra after she complained of breathing issues. The compulsory Covid-19 test done at the hospital showed a negative result.
“Saroj ji’s name introduced the word ‘choreographer’ to my life. A genius who immortalised stars and the music that defined an era with her iconic work. May her loved ones find strength and courage at this terrible hour. There’ll never be another…,” actor Nimrat Kaur tweeted.

Saroj Khan Death News: “Saddened to hear of ace choreographer & three times national awardee Saroj Khan’s demise at 72. Many of the 2000+ iconic songs she choreographed have a permanent place in audiences’ hearts. Deepest condolences to her family, friends, colleagues & fans,” Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh wrote on Twitter. Cardiac arrest is the reason of her death.

Her real name was Nirmala Nagpal and was one of the most prominent Indian dance choreographers in Hindi cinema. National Award is a major award.
Saroj Khan also did screenwriting and became writer for myriad of movies for instance Khiladi, Hum Hain Bemisaal, Veeru Dada, Chhote Sarkar, Dil Tera Diwana, Hote Hote Pyar Ho Gaya, Benaam and Khanjar. On small screen she became judge on reality dance shows like Nach Baliye, Ustaadon Ka Ustaad, Boogie Woogie and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
