Central government should adopt ‘tit for tat’ policy on China and change the names of 60 places in Tibet also: Himanta Biswa Sarma

New Delhi. The BJP has made Amarsin Tiso its candidate from Diphu Lok Sabha constituency of Assam. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who came to campaign in favor of TISO, made such a statement regarding China, which is being discussed everywhere.

In fact, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, while replying to media questions on the statement of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee President Bhupen Kumar Bora in Diphu town of Karbi Anglong district on Tuesday, said that Bhupen Bora himself is worried, you people of the Congress. One should not trust any person. Congress leaders themselves are joining BJP.

He was questioned by the media that Dragon (China) changed the names of 30 places in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. On this, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that I request the Indian government to adopt a tit-for-tat policy on China and also change the names of 60 places in Tibet.

He said that however it is the decision of the Central Government as to what it does on this. But, I still request the Government of India that if they change 30 names then we should change the names of 60 places.

He further said that the tribal areas of Assam were suffering from insurgency for a long time, but the sole focus of PM Narendra Modi is to develop our tribal areas, in such a situation we have signed agreements with all the groups and people of Assam. The wave of development is going on in tribal areas. This is the reason that in the last 10 years, there has been a complete stop to extremist activities in the tribal areas of Assam.

He further said that our triple engine government is implementing a development plan worth about twenty thousand crores in Diphu Lok Sabha constituency. Today, this pace of development in these remote hilly areas of Assam is possible only because of PM Modi.
