Milkipur by-election: Akhilesh-Awadhesh’s charm fades again in front of Yogi

Lucknow, February 8. Yogi’s development work in Ayodhya paid off. The Ramnagari, in which Yogi Adityanath played a major role in achieving the glory of Treta Yuga under the leadership of PM Modi, Ayodhya bloomed the lotus flower by chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ in Milkipur on Yogi’s call.

On the strength of Yogi’s work, the echo of ‘Jai Shri Ram, Jai Shri Ram’ was heard from the entire Milkipur, so BJP candidate Chandrabhanu Paswan succeeded in winning here by 61,710 votes. Despite many busy schedules, including Maha Kumbh, administrative responsibilities, and Uttar Pradesh Day, Yogi Adityanath reached twice to communicate with the public for Chandrabhanu Paswan. At the same time, the efforts of Akhilesh Yadav, who reached for his candidate, proved futile. Even after reaching Ayodhya, Akhilesh did not visit Ram Lalla.

In his rallies, Yogi Adityanath appealed to make nationalism win and defeat nepotism. Yogi’s appeal had such an impact on the people of Milkipur that even in casting their votes, the voters here passed in first class. BJP candidate Chandrabhanu Paswan got a total of 1,46,397 votes; he got 60.17 percent votes. He got 1,46,291 votes from EVM and 106 votes from postal. Whereas, the public rejected the nepotism of the Samajwadi Party. The son of SP MP and SP candidate from the by-election could get only 84,655 votes. He remained in double digits even in the postal ballot. He got just 32 votes. He got only 64,687 votes in total. He was successful in getting a total of 34.81 percent votes.

As a worker under the leadership of PM Modi, Yogi Adityanath fulfilled the responsibilities given by the party very well. His rallies in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, and Delhi were also very successful. In the recently concluded UP by-elections, the public approved Yogi’s development in seven out of nine seats. At the same time, in the by-election held on the tenth seat (Milkipur), the public heard Yogi’s appeal. Akhilesh-Awadhesh’s charm faded in front of Yogi. Awadhesh Prasad, who became MP from Milkipur in 2012-2022 and from Ayodhya in 2024, was rejected by the public. He could not get his son elected. The public rejected the Akhilesh-Awadhesh pair in front of Yogi.

On one hand, Yogi Adityanath’s communication style and on the other hand, the changed positive perception towards UP due to his strict image played a very important role in this victory. Not only this, on one hand, while he gauged the pulse of the common people by raising local issues, on the other hand, he made his place in the hearts of the people by getting development done all around Ayodhya. The public also considered his action against the mafia on the incidents that took place in Ayodhya as an example. His attack on corruption and taking the pulse by raising local issues was liked by the voters.

There was a huge crowd in both the rallies of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The entire society is also joining this call of Yogi. On the call of the Chief Minister, BJP leaders and workers got together for the victory of Chandrabhanu.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held two rallies in the Milkipur assembly by-election. His first rally was held on January 24. Despite the busy schedule of Uttar Pradesh Day on January 24 and the presence of the Vice President as the chief guest, he reached Milkipur and interacted with the public. Basant Panchami’s Amrit Snan was on February 3 in the Maha Kumbh, so his second rally was held on February 2, a day before the end of the election campaign. In this rally too, a large number of voters had come to listen to Yogi Adityanath.
