AYODHYA | The time of Bhoomipujan of the proposed Ram temple in Ayodhya was a historical moment which would be highlighted as the best moment of Indian politics. Many dignitaries including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were present in this Bhoomipujan organized by the Pandits of Varanasi and Ayodhya.
The Prime Minister performed all rituals of worship. Sacred soil brought from various religious places and water from 151 rivers were offered in the pit dug for the ground worship.
During this period, the RSS chief, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the Governor sat at some distance.
VHP leader late Ashok Singhal’s nephew Salil Singhal and his wife were also present at the function.
Mahant Nritya Gopal Das Bhumipujan was not present at the site of the Maha Ram Tirthakshetra Trust and one of the pioneers of the temple movement. However, he was present in the Prime Minister’s meeting.
Trust secretary Champat Rai was also not present in the Bhoomi Pujan.
All the saints and invitees who attended the ceremony were seated in a separate place, where they watched the entire ceremony on an LED screen.
