New Delhi, October 2 Islam preacher Zakir Naik has made a big statement about beef in Pakistan, which is being discussed a lot. Maulana Tauqeer Raza reacted to Naik’s beef statement on Wednesday. He said that Muslims do not like to eat cow meat.
Talking to IANS, he said that as far as cow meat is concerned, I have run a campaign. We are accused of eating cow meat. But Muslims do not like to eat cow meat, because the Prophet has clearly said in the Hadith that cow meat spreads disease and cow milk cures (cures disease). That is why to defame us, it is said that Muslims eat cow meat. No one eats cow meat and I have also done continuous programs on this. Apart from this, I say that the people who have the responsibility of maintaining peace in the country, the same people try to spoil the atmosphere of the country by spreading lies and making false allegations against Muslims.
He further said that if an honest investigation is done, then among those who do the business of cow meat, you will find that many people are non-Muslims. There are no Muslims. Muslims do not make cow meat their business. Whatever it is, it is a false allegation on Muslims and those people who argue that we do not eat it and should not eat it. Hazrat Allama Fazle Haq Khairabadi was the last Mughal emperor. Hazrat Mufti Sahib had given the seventh advice to the Mughal emperor that if anyone is found slaughtering a cow or eating cow meat, then he should be tied with a rope and blown up. Those who have done this have a grudge against him in their hearts. All these false things are being done to create hatred in the minds of common Hindus by making false allegations against Muslims. We need to explain these things.
On meat shops being closed during Navaratri, he said that they can be as dishonest as they want. The government is dishonest. Goons have a free hand under the protection of the government. No action is taken against them. They have taken the law in their own hands. An atmosphere of anarchy is being created in the country. The government should pay attention to this, the police should take cognizance, the Supreme Court should take cognizance of this. Those who are creating such an atmosphere in the country are enemies of the country or patriots. Because of maintaining peace in our country, Muslims are not responding to all these atrocities and atrocities of these dishonest people, they are not giving any reaction. This does not mean that we are cowards. We will prove that we are not big-hearted, because we want peace and tranquility in our country.
He further said that a worthless man goes to our mosque and asks for the papers of our mosque. Who gave him this right? The government is being dishonest. The government is not taking action against such people. The truth is that before 2014 these people used to throw bombs and say that Muslims threw bombs. The same people are not throwing bombs now. They are spreading terrorism. They are bulldozing mosques in every locality. All this dishonesty or whatever is happening. At that time they were put on blast work. Now that work is over because the government is of dishonest people. So now they have been given this job to keep their hatred going.
