New Delhi: As a part of Celebration of 75 years of India’s Independence as “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has organised a Group Art Exhibition for two weeks at Janpath Subway, Connaught Place, New Delhi.
As many as 75 contemporary senior artists, art students not only from Delhi but from all across the Country are participating with their 250 creative in the form of Paintings, drawings and sculptures in the exhibition.
This exhibition has been organised with the aim to promote art and culture in the open space at Janpath Subway of Connaught Place outer circle from 11th April to 25 April, 2022 for general public. It will be on view till 25th April, 2022 on free entry basis from 11.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. for the general public.
The exhibition presents contemporary artists from India, who are effectively exploring various methods, materials and techniques year after year, producing distinctive artworks and regularly showcasing their experimental outcome in a range of forms like drawing, painting, sculpture, installation and many more.
The group art exhibition of its kind provide an opportunity to senior, mid-career and budding talents in this field, who are constantly working on their individualistic style and already making marks in this field contributing legacy to Indian Art scenario on the contemporary theme as – Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav .
