New Delhi: Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri- CM Kejriwal inaugurated ‘Pink Line’

New Delhi | Commuters traveling by Delhi Metro got a big gift today (on Friday). For Delhiites, Mayur Vihar Pocket-1 has been started from Trilokpuri Sanjay Lake on the Pink Line of Metro from today. Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal flagged off the Metro service of this section on Friday morning through video conferencing.

However, common citizens will be able to travel on this section from 3 o’clock.

The news of relief for the people of Delhi is that now after the start of this line, all the lines of NCR of Delhi Metro will be connected.

Commuters will no longer need to change metro frequently. Actually Pink Line is the biggest corridor of Delhi Metro.

Earlier, if a passenger had to go from East Delhi to Faridabad or Gurugram including Noida, Ghaziabad, then he had to travel between the wallet line via Blue, Red, Yellow.

Now Trilokpuri will connect Sanjay Lake to Mayur Vihar Pocket-1, 59 km long Pink Line and will connect important places of the city like Anand Vihar Railway Station, Anand Vihar Bus Stand, Nizamuddin Railway Station, markets of South Extension and INA Lajpat Nagar, etc.
