Mumbai, October 13 . Mumbai Police held a press conference on Sunday after one of the accused involved in the Baba Siddiqui murder case was sent to police remand. Police said that after sending the accused to remand, he will now be questioned in detail and on various aspects related to this case.
Police said that two pistols have been recovered from the accused. The accused also brought pepper spray with them to carry out the crime. The case is being investigated from every angle. Baba Siddiqui was fired upon near Nirmal Nagar police station. A case has been registered in the police in this regard. The investigation has been handed over to the Crime Branch. Two accused involved in this incident were arrested shortly after the incident.
The police further said, “Two pistols and 28 live cartridges have been recovered from the accused. The case is also being investigated from the Lawrence Bishnoi angle. Lawrence Bishnoi’s role in this incident is being investigated so that the whole situation can be clear. Baba Siddiqui was fired upon when he came out of his son’s office. This incident was carried out by three people, out of which two have been arrested. Baba Siddiqui was provided ‘Y’ category security. This case will also be investigated from the aspect of Salman Khan to Lawrence Bishnoi gang. ”
