The Eiffel Tower has welcomed its first visitors after 3 months – Janmat Samachar

Paris Eiffel Tower corona news: A small queue started to form again this Thursday, June 25, under the arches of the Eiffel Tower. After three months of closure due to the coronavirus crisis, the emblematic Parisian monument has once again welcomed the public, as you can see in the video above.

A fanfare welcomed the visitors, who were few in number for the reopening. Usually, there are seven million a year (or 20,000 per day) to climb the 324 meters of the Iron Lady according to its managers, making it one of the most visited monuments in the world.

Paris Eiffel Tower corona news: Signposted route, wearing a mandatory mask and respecting distance: the reopening criteria did not spoil the enthusiasm of the first visitors.


And if the Eiffel Tower is officially reopened, its elevators will not resume service until July 1. Two floors – out of three – are currently accessible for the price of a nice climb by the stairs. The summit, which rises to 324 meters, will reopen on July 15.
