New Delhi, August 16 On the death anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, many leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh paid tribute to him. Many leaders paid tribute to him by remembering his contribution.
Remembering the contribution of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister Modi wrote on Instagram, “On behalf of all the countrymen, I pay my respects to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji on his death anniversary. His dedication and service towards the all-round development of the nation inspires everyone to contribute to the creation of a developed and self-reliant India.” Remembering Atal Ji, BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda wrote on Twitter, “I pay my respectful tribute to the source of inspiration for countless workers, ideal model of good governance, former Prime Minister, ‘Bharat Ratna’ respected Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji on his death anniversary. Respected Atal Ji dedicated his life to building a strong, prosperous and self-reliant India. From the establishment of BJP to the creation of a strong India, he remained determined throughout his life. His thoughts and work of public service and nation building are exemplary for millions of BJP workers.” Union Home Minister Amit Shah wrote on X, “Former Prime Minister, founding member of BJP, Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji laid a strong foundation of development and good governance by advancing value-based politics. Atal ji was a politician who never compromised on principles and ideology, even if he had to lose his government for this. Under his leadership, India conducted successful nuclear tests in Pokhran and gave a befitting reply to the enemies in the Kargil war. Atal ji will continue to inspire all of us on the path of national service through his thoughts and actions. I salute him on the death anniversary of respected Atal ji.”
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh wrote in X post, “I pay tribute to Atal ji on his death anniversary. He dedicated his entire life with the resolve to build a strong and prosperous India. The nation will always remember his unprecedented contribution.”
