New Delhi, May 30 . Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the youngest player in Indian Premier League history, has made his mark in IPL 2025. This 14-year-old batsman has scored 252 runs in 7 IPL matches for Rajasthan Royals at an average of 36. During this, Suryavanshi hit a century and a half-century.
Rajasthan Royals are out of the title race. The team’s campaign ended on May 20 itself. Therefore, Vaibhav is currently on a break. Vaibhav Suryavanshi recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Patna airport. Information about the meeting has been given on the ‘X’ handle of the PM himself.
PM Modi was on a two-day visit to Bihar. He praised the cricket skills of this young player. Sharing some pictures with Vaibhav Suryavanshi on PM Modi’s official ‘X’ account, the post read, “Met young cricket sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi and his family at Patna airport. His cricketing skills are being praised across the country! My best wishes for his future endeavours.”
When Vaibhav met PM Modi with his parents, he also touched his feet. During this meeting, the Prime Minister blessed Vaibhav and wished him, which will act as a support for his sports career in the coming days. This moment was not only a personal achievement for Vaibhav, but it also proves that there is no dearth of talent in Bihar cricket – the only need is platform, opportunity and positive guidance.
This was another historic moment for Bihar cricket. Behind this special achievement of Vaibhav, the President of Bihar Cricket Association played an important role, who got Vaibhav to come to Patna by getting special permission from the National Cricket Academy, BCCI and he got the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Modi.
Vaibhav’s performance so far has been consistently commendable at the state and national level. His hard work, technique and dedication have not only given him a distinct identity among his teammates, but also earned the trust of selectors and administrators.
