New Delhi : To mark the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s “two decades in public service”, the Bjp is organising a 20 day “Seva and Samarpan” campaign. Under the Seva Aur Samarpan Abhiyaan Today Honourable Minister of State (External Affairs&Culture) inaugurated a First of its kind Rubberised Walking Track at C-1 block , Safdurjung Development Area Park situated in New Delhi. The Honourable Minister of state also inaugurated an Automatic Sanitary Pad Manufacturing Machine at Women Technical Institute in Netaji Nagar, New Delhi. Mrs. Lekhi also distributed Free Sanitation Pads to the women and girls present at the Institute. Later in the day under Seva and Samarpan Abhiyaan Mrs. Lekhi visited the vaccination centre at Charak Palika hospital. She also inaugurated an Oxygen Generation Plant installed at the hospital under PM cares fund. Mrs. Lekhi also dedicated a Water ATM machine for the patients and their attendants visiting the hospital. At this occasion Mr. Dharmendra, Chairman,NDMC and Dr. B.M.Mishra, Secretary, NDMC were also present with the Honourable Minister.
Mrs. Lekhi addressing the people present at the occasion said that we all are Karyakartas of World’s largest political organisation Bharatiya Janta Party and hence we have our responsibility towards ensuring good governance to the people. Hon’ble PM Modi Ji’s birthday(17th September) was celebrated as Seva Diwas and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Ji’s birthday(25th September) will be celebrated as Samarpan Diwas. Therefore the organisation has undertaken this campaign as ‘Seva Aur Samarpan’ Abhiyaan.
She told that today the welfare schemes of Modi Government reflect the concept of Antodaya given by Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay ji which is also the guiding principle for our Karyakartas. While interacting with the girl students at Women Technical Institute Mrs. Lekhi mentioned about Modi Government’s flagship program like Skill India and Start up India. She said that it is vital for all of us to nurture our skills. Skill development is the future of New India and foundation of Atma Nirbhar Bharat. She said over 1.25 crores of youths have been trained till date under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.
After inauguration of the Oxygen plant installed under the PM cares fund at Charak Palika Hospital, Mrs. Lekhi recalled the times of pandemic when everyone was not even sure of Vaccination or the solution to COVID-19. But today, we are witnessing record vaccinations being carried out by India; it clearly reflects the dedication & Determination of the central government as well as the Health & frontline workers.
Mrs. Lekhi also planted saplings at S.D.A. Park along with the Bjp Karyakartas. She thanked all the people, RWA representatives and Karyakartas for attending the program.
