New Delhi, January 21 The dates for President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Congress MP from Wayanad, Kerala Priyanka Gandhi to visit Triveni Sangam to attend the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh have been revealed.
According to sources, President Draupadi Murmu will go to Prayagraj on February 10 to take a bath in Maha Kumbh while Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will attend the Maha Kumbh on February 1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go on February 5 when voting for the assembly will be going on in Delhi. Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive on January 27 to take a bath in the Maha Kumbh fair.
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Congress MP from Wayanad, Kerala Priyanka Gandhi will go to Maha Kumbh on February 2.
Such a Maha Kumbh has come after about 144 years. That is why it is being considered very sacred. It is estimated that this time around 45 crore people can reach this Maha Kumbh for bathing. Kumbh Mela has started from January 13. It will end on February 26 on the day of Mahashivratri. According to religious beliefs, bathing here destroys sins and attains virtue. Especially, it is believed that taking a royal bath during Maha Kumbh gives special benefits. Due to this, this time on the occasion of the first royal bath on Makar Sankranti, more than three and a half crore devotees took a dip in the Kumbh.
It is known that this time there are a total of 6 Amrit Snans. Out of these, the bath of Paush Purnima on January 13 and Makar Sankranti on January 14 has been completed. There are still four more Amrit Snans left. These include Mauni Amavasya on January 29, Basant Panchami on February 3, Maghi Purnima on February 12 and Amrit Snan of Mahashivratri on February 26.
