He has submitted his resignation to Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Meanwhile, RPN Singh tweeted on Tuesday and said, “Today, when the entire nation is celebrating Republic Day, I am starting a new chapter in my political life.

According to the information, RPN Singh can join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday itself. There is speculation about his joining BJP for the past several days, according to sources, he will now join BJP on Tuesday afternoon.

In such a situation, when the party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi has taken over the responsibility of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, despite that, just before the election, RPN has decided to leave the Congress. Therefore, it is expected that he may be a BJP candidate from Padrauna, from where BJP minister Swami Prasad Maurya, who has resigned from the Samajwadi Party, is going to contest.

RPN Singh is considered a very close leader of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi. He has been an important face of Team Rahul. Jyotiraditya Scindia and Jitin Prasad, who were members of Team Rahul, have already joined BJP.
