Ottawa. Six people were killed in a plane crash west of Calgary in Canada’s Alberta province, media reports said.
The plane took off from Springbank Airport at around 8:45 pm. Police said the plane went missing about 30 minutes after taking off for Salmon Arm, British Columbia. The wreckage of the plane was found at around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday in a mountainous area about 100 km west of Calgary and all six bodies have been recovered, Xinhua news agency reported.
Police said there were five passengers and a pilot on board the plane.
The dead are yet to be identified and the cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
