Stir over Delhi CM intensifies, JP Nadda meets 10 MLAs

New Delhi, February 11  After registering victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, 10 newly elected MLAs of BJP met the party’s national president, JP Nadda, on Tuesday.

These MLAs include Vijender Gupta, Rekha Gupta, Arvinder Singh Lovely, Ajay Mahawar, Satish Upadhyay, Shikha Rai, Anil Sharma and Dr. Anil Goyal, Kapil Mishra, and Kulwant Rana. Among these MLAs, 3 to 4 faces are being said to be contenders for the post of Chief Minister.

After the party’s victory in the Delhi elections, the BJP has started the process of government formation. In such a situation, the meeting of BJP MLAs with JP Nadda is being considered very important.

Earlier, some newly elected MLAs also met Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. All the winning MLAs, including New Delhi MLA Pravesh Verma, Kailash Gehlot and Arvinder Singh Lovely, who defeated Arvind Kejriwal, met LG VK Saxena.

On Monday evening, BJP national president JP Nadda met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in Delhi. According to sources, the two leaders discussed the next CM of Delhi in this meeting.

According to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Chief Minister in Delhi will be held after Prime Minister Narendra Modi returns from his foreign tour. Prime Minister Modi is currently on a tour of France and America.

According to the information received, a meeting of the BJP Legislature Party will be held soon. In which the newly elected MLAs will select the leader of the Legislature Party.

In the 70-member Delhi Assembly elections, BJP has won 48 seats, while AAP has got 22 seats. Congress’s account is not opened.
