While talking to IANS on Saturday, BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal said that the entire judicial system of the country should be reviewed afresh.
The BJP MP said that we all know that today justice is expensive and is also delayed. There are many such cases where the person seeking justice dies before getting justice. Therefore, the statement of the Chief Justice is very important, and I believe that the entire judicial system of the country should be reviewed afresh. There are lakhs of cases pending in the court. How can they be resolved quickly, how can the justice system be improved in future. Necessary steps should be taken regarding this. He said that when we review the judicial system, we have to pay attention to many points. These include 2 months’ leave of judges, shortage of judges, need to create new posts.
The BJP MP argued that in the present time, it is not possible for everyone to get justice. Because, justice is very expensive. Which is not within everyone’s reach. Lakhs of cases are pending in the court. We need to create such a justice system, where people can get justice as soon as possible. There is a dire need to review this.
Chief Justice BR Gavai, while emphasizing the current state of law and order in the convocation ceremony held in Hyderabad, said that there is a dire need to improve our legal system. He said that delay in cases is a big problem in the country’s judicial system, because innocent people have to wait for years or sometimes decades for court cases.
